Meet Amita

Amita grew up drawing and painting the world around her. She combined her love of art with her design education to work as a graphic designer in corporate America. But as time went on, she missed being able to take on projects that allowed her to work one-on-one with clients to create pieces that were as personal to them as they are to her.

She started Amicreative in 2012 as a custom stationary boutique where she could work one-on-one with clients to create cherished keepsakes for their special events. Her passion for creating modern, intricate designs led her to expand her line into a stationary and home goods line that celebrates the elegance in details.

Inspired by all of the vibrant patterns and colors from her Indian heritage and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, she spends her days creating thoughtful and inky designs that come to life on paper and products. She aspires to continually create unique and one-of-a-kind designs that bring joy and a touch of the exotic to our everyday moments.

Amita's work can be found on her online stores as well as boutiques throughout the Pacific Northwest. She can also be found at local craft fairs through out the year sharing her goods.

a few of her favorite things & other secrets:

- mexican food & pepperoni pizza ... she has a hard time choosing

- she won’t watch a movie without a bowl of popcorn mixed with m&ms

- she hates the way coffee tastes but she loves the way it smells

- she often quotes star wars to teach her children life lessons

and the words she tries to live by:

"i do not weep at the world, i am too busy sharpening my oyster knife"
